Day 01 :

Pick-Up in Nairobi & Drive to Masai Mara

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up at 7:30 AM from your Nairobi hotel or the airport, followed by a scenic drive to the Masai Mara.

A Masai Mara safari is a must-do experience for any visit to Kenya. The reserve offers endless panoramic views, a rich diversity of wildlife including the Big Five, and a deep-rooted cultural heritage. It is widely regarded as one of Africa’s greatest safari destinations.

Between July and October, the region comes alive with the Great Migration, as millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the plains in search of fresh grazing land, closely followed by predators such as lions and leopards.

In the late afternoon, you will be guided by Maasai Morans (warriors) on a walking safari, followed by a cultural visit to a traditional Maasai village, where you’ll learn about their customs and way of life.

Later, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02 :

Full-Day Game Drives in Masai Mara National Reserve

This day is flexible and planned in consultation with your Bush Doctor Safaris guide.

Option 1:
Enjoy breakfast and depart around 7:30 AM for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. This option allows you to explore deeper areas of the reserve, including the Mara River—famous for river crossings during the migration season—before returning to the lodge or camp in the late afternoon.

Option 2:
Start with an early morning game drive at 6:00 AM, then return to your accommodation for breakfast and relaxation. In the afternoon, depart again at 4:00 PM for another game drive, returning by 6:30 PM for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03 :

Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha – Nairobi

After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, located in the Great Rift Valley.

Upon arrival, enjoy a scenic boat ride on the lake, offering stunning views and excellent birdwatching opportunities. You’ll also spot hippos resting in the water along the shoreline.

After the boat ride, proceed to a nearby animal sanctuary for a guided walking safari among freely roaming wildlife.

Later in the day, you will be transferred back to your Nairobi hotel or directly to the airport for your onward journey.
